This is my first HCM Pro model. I bought the Rick Dom simply because I don’t have the model yet and I have this affinity for monoeyed mechs. It comes fully assembled, the only things on a spruce are the different hands, beam bazooka and heat saber.
For it’s size (1/200 scale, about the size of your palm), it has pretty decent posabilty. The arms can only bend 90 degrees, though. The shoulders can ‘pop’ out, allowing some degree of flexibilty. Some pieces of the armor can be removed, revealing internal details, like the head and butt armor. I added some panel lines and painted the fingers and bazooka and added a bit of dry brushing to enhance its looks. That’s about the only work needed.
What else can I say, this model is good for lazy modellers like me who wants a good looking, posable model to put in his office. The only thing I don’t really like about the HCM Pro models are the stripes on the model’s body. And it would be nice to have warning stickers on them, like the Fix-Figuration series, but that’s asking too much :P
