Little Armory Howa Type 64 Battle Rifle

The Type 64 is a Japanese designed battle rifle for use by the JSDF. The kit itself is pretty simple; it comes with 2 bipods, 2 magazines and a bayonet.

I painted the body with german grey and the magazines with gunmetal. The buttstock and grip were painted with dark brown. I drew some wood lines on the buttstock using my brown finetip Gundam marker.

Fully assembled, the Type 64 is quite long, as you can see below.

Final thoughts:

Although the design of the type 64 looks a bit plain, the kit itself is well detailed. But overall, it feels pretty much unspectacular.

However it does come with a bayonet that you can actually mount at the barrel. I also have no problems posing it with the skeleton & the GM.
